Base Station Antenna Systems

Omnidirectional Antennas

Omnidirectional antennas radiate maximum power uniformly in all directions, in the horizontal plane. These center-fed collinear antennas ensure consistent gain and impedance across the frequency band for a wide variety of applications, including land mobile radio services from 806-960 MHz Numeko Tech has been supplying Omni antennas since the early days of radio communication. The portfolio includes antennas for extensive rural coverage.

Remote Tilt System

Introducing the Optimizer RT from industry leader Radio Frequency Systems (RFS). Antenna tilt adjustment from either tower base or network management center is now an operational reality, thanks to RFS’s latest generation remote tilt technology - the Optimizer RT Antenna Control system.

The Optimizer RT antenna control system permits accurate antenna tilt operations to be conducted - without installers or crane equipment - either from tower base or the network management center. Easily interfaced with existing Network Management Software, the RFS Optimizer RT provides the ultimate in real-time network optimization.

Other Directional Antennas

The YAGI antennas series available in various gains for 406 - 512MHz and 806 - 960MHz bands
The APV series with field adjustable horizontal beam width designed to fill multiple horizontal pattern coverage requirements. This flexibility allows custom tailoring of cell coverage and avoids antenna replacement as sectors change. The reflector can be easily adjusted and provides coverage in six different settings; 46°, 60°, 78°, 90°, 105°, and 110° horizontal beam width.
The AH series specially design for tunnel coverage thanks to the circular polarization. Antennas are available for cellular networks in low band, high band and dual band applications.

Panel Antennas

Optimizer CELlite Antennas: Rugged construction and lightweight design

The best of both worlds: Introducing RFS antennas featuring CELlite and Optimizer technologies for the rapid rollout of wireless networks in densely populated regions. These antennas are manufactured with premium quality materials to ensure superior performance. The microstripline feed system consists of monolithic aluminum construction allowing for:

  • Minimal welded joints to reduce the possibility of intermodulation problems
  • Minimal power losses to increase the antenna gain
  • Perfect production reliability and repeatability

Each antenna features lightweight, one-piece panel construction for ease of installation, reducing handling cost. All aluminum components are treated to minimize corrosion, assuring reliable operation in icing, salt air and rain conditions. These antennas support all services between 806MHz and 960MHz. They are ideal for CDMA applications and GSM900 network coverage and optimization.

Ultra-Broadband Antennas: Ultra-flexible LTE spectrum support

RFS Ultra-Broadband Antennas dramatically simplify antenna requirements by supporting the full range of potential LTE frequencies on a single platform. Ready for LTE testing today, they eliminate the need to replace or add antennas as operator’s trial and deploy LTE services at different frequencies.

These antennas bring tremendous flexibility to operators with 2G, 3G, PCS, AWS, GSM1800 and mobile TV networks, enabling them to activate LTE in any frequency band, using Software-Defined Radio (SDR) – without changing the antenna. The antennas are thus ideal for meeting rebanding and refarming requirements in the 1710-2700 MHz range.

Available in dual polarization or sideby-side quad polarization versions, the antennas feature RFS premium performance: high gain, high upper sidelobe suppression and performance stability across frequencies. They also provide easy adjustments, optional remote tilt, and a low-profi le design to minimize visual impact.

The side-by-side version gives operators increased fl exibility to support multiple technologies and seamlessly add capacity – all under a single radome. During LTE rollout, operators will benefi t from Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), beamforming and 4-way receive (Rx) diversity.

TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE

The design and engineering of RF Conditioning products is carried out using innovative methods. Designs are simulated and optimized utilizing proprietary software solutions. After submitting the simulations to the customer for approval, the products are prototyped in our lab. Research into new materials has led to the development of innovative products such as polymeric filters and multimode ceramic filters. Research into new active devices and their characterization yields optimized designs for low noise amplification for emerging UMTS and CDMA2000 applications.

RF repeator 2G, 3G, ICS

Numeko Tech features a comprehensive portfolio of off-air RF repeaters that enhance and extend indoor and outdoor coverage. Besides our analog repeaters, our off-air digital repeater systems are designed to supply consistent signal reliability for large areas shadowed by hills, buildings or other structures, but they are also effective in tunnels, canyons and dense urban environments like office buildings and malls.

Our off-air repeater solutions are even effective for mobile applications such as for moving trains. They may also be used as a cost-efficient alternative to base stations where coverage is more critical than capacity and no wired backbone is available.
